The "lang" field is special. If you look for a string that contains two or three letters only, as in lang:en or lang:san, it is assumed to refer to an ISO 639 language code, and an exact comparison is performed. If you look for a string longer than that, it is assumed to refer to a language name and the above-mentioned substring matching technique will be used instead. The inscription is dated in the 4th year and 142nd day. Palaeographically it may be assigned to the 13th century.
It records the remission of taxes such as kāropādi, puṟa-uḍal kaḍamai, kāśāyam on dry lands, other kāśāyam such as śeṭṭiṟai, taṟi-iṟai, śekkiṟai etc., on the tirunāmattukkāṇi and dēvadāna lands in favour of the sthānattār of the temple of god Tirukaṇṇīśvaramuḍaiyār, for worship and repairs in the temple. Veḷiyāṟṟūr-uḍaiyāṉ and Kappalūruḍaiyāṉ figure as signatories.

[Jaṭāvarmaṉ Sundarapāṇḍya I]. Year 14: 1264 A.D.
This inscription is dated in the reign of Kōṉēriṉmaikoṇḍāṉ, who from the reference to Kōyilpoṉmēyndaperumāḷ and Sundarapāṇḍya in the body of the inscription, may be identical with Jaṭāvarmaṉ Sundarapāṇḍya I. This is dated in the 205th day of the 14th Year.
It records a royal order leasing out 30 vēli of land belonging to Deyvanāyakaṉ temple in Tiruvayindirapuram in Marudāḍu, a hamlet of Śōḻakulavallinallūr and Kīḻaikkēraḷāntakanallūr as kuḍinīṅgāda tiruviḍaiyāṭṭam to the chaturvēdi-bhaṭṭas of Puttuḻāṉ-Brahmadēśam in Tiruvayīndiram by Puttuḻār Tiruvaraṅgachchelvar alias Villavarāyar. The bhaṭṭas were required to measure out annually to the Deyvanāyakan temple, 20 kalam of paddy per vēli, as āyam, upādi and kaḍamai for food and other offerings to the image of god Kōyil-poṉmēynda Perumāḷ, set up by the king in his name and for offerings on the occasion of Sundarapāṇḍyaṉ sandhi for the god Deyvanāyakaṉ. Tachchaneṉmali-uḍaiyāṉ figures as the signatory of the record. The body called Iraṇḍāyiravar was entrusted with the supervision of this arrangement.
This record pertaining to the Deyvanāyakaṉ temple of Tiruvayīndiram (Tiruvēndipuram) was engraved here evidently because some of the lands under reference were situated in Śōḻakulavallinallūr, where Tirukkaṇṭhēśvaram was situated.

Jaṭāvarmaṉ Sundarapāṇḍya I. Year 14: 1264 A.D.
This inscription records an agreement entered into between the śivabrāhmaṇas on the one hand and the temple authorities, the royal Kaṇkāṇi officers, and the ūr-mudalis of Śōḻakulavallinallūr on the other for conducting a service to god Tirukkaṇṇīśvaramuḍaiya Nāyāṉar on the occasion of tiru-ppaḷḷi-eḻuchchi to be called Paḻiyil-pugaḻāḷaṉ sandhi for which the former received as aḍaippu 3 mā of land from Mēyūr Milaiyaṅ-kiḻāṉ Aḻagiya Tiruchchiṟṟambalamuḍaiyāṉ Maṉṟiṟkuṉikkum Perumāṉ alias Abhimāna tuṅga-ppallavaraiyar of Śōḻakulavallinallūr. The donor made an additional grant of land made tax-free for the same purpose, on finding that the śivabrāhmaṇas could not perform the service regularly with the income from the previous grant.
Among the boundaries of the land originally granted is mentioned a piece of tirunāmattukkāṇi land purchased from a number of persons including Villavaṉ Viḻup paraiyar of Kaṇṇamaṅgalam in the 13th year.

It mentions a gift of land to god Tirunāgīśvaramuḍai[ya Nāyaṉār] of Tiruppālaipandal on the southern bank of the river Peṇṇai by Kiḷiyūr Malaiyamāṉ Sūriyadēvaṉ Ni[la]ē[ṟṟa] Perumāḷ Edirigaṇāyaṉ alias Śōḻaṅ[ga]adēvan.

It records the gift of 100 kāśu for a sandhi lamp for god Tiruṉāgīśu[ra*]muḍaiya Nāyanār by Maṇḍaiāḻvān Pottimeṉkō[ṉ] Āṇḍāṉ in expiation of a sin committed by him (details lost).

It records the construction of a shrine for Taṇḍēśurappiḷḷaiyār and the setting up of the images of Iḷaiya Piḷḷaiyār and his two consorts (Nāchchimār) in the temple of Tirunāgīśuram-uḍaiya Nāyaṉār of Tiruppālaippandal, by Śeṉai Ā[ṭ*]koṇḍār Nāthaṉ Tiruñānasambandaveḷḷāṉ of Māṉamarudu.

This inscription registers an agreement (ubhayattīṭṭu) given to Vīrāṇam-uḍaiyāṉ Udaiyaṉ Tiruk[ka]ttuṟaiyuḍaiyān alias Alaṅgārappiriyan, the [ū]ṛkaṇakku of Peṇṇāgaḍam by three śivabrāhmaṇas who were in the enjoyment of kāṇi in the temple of god Tirunāgīśvaram-uḍaiya Nāyaṉār of Tiruppālaippandal to supply the necessary articles (specified) for the worship of the god on śivarātri day in the month of Māśi with the interest on the 300 kāśu received from the former in the month of Pūraṭṭādi of the year.

Kampaṇa Uḍaiyar. Ś. 1291, Saumya: 1369 A.D. Kampaṇa Uḍaiyar is stated to be the son of Vīra Bokkaṇa Uḍaiyar. The details of date given, viz., Śaka 1291, Saumya, Tulā śu. 13, Sunday, Uttiraṭṭādi correspond to 1369 A.D., October 14, Sunday, the nakshatra Uttiraṭṭādi having ended at 92, the previous day.
This inscription records the remission of the levy of nāṭṭu-viṉiyōgam on the kāṉi land, Vīrapālaṉēndal in Araivariśaippaṟṟu belonging to Nāyaṉār Peṇṇorubāga-mudaliyār of Maruttūr, by the Nāṭṭār in Vaḍagarai in Magadai-maṇḍalam.

It records a gift of income from taxes, including āyam, antarāyam, pāḍikāval, taṟi-iṟai, and śekkiṟaippāṭṭam on wet and dry lands in the village of Tiruppālaippandal to god Tirunāgīśuram-uḍaiya Nāyaṉār of the place, by the donor, mentioned above.

Kampaṇa Uḍaiyar. Ś. 1291: 1369 A.D. Kampaṇa Uḍaiyar is referred to as the son of Vīra Bokkaṇa Uḍaiyar. The details of date given viz. Śaka 1291, Saumya, Tulā śu. 11, Friday, corresponds to 1369 A.D. October 12. (See No. 179 above).
This inscription records an agreement by the Nāṭṭavar of Tiruvāyppāḍi in Magadaimaṇḍalam to conduct the 7th day festival for god Tirunāgīśvaram-uḍaiya Nāyaṉār of Tiruppālaippandal. Vaṇḍuvarāpati-samayakkaṇakkan figures as the signatory of the record.

This records the gift of a plate of bell-metal to god Mūlasthānam-uḍaiya Mahādēvar in Tiruvakkarai in Tirubhuvanamahādēvi-chaturvēdimaṅgalam, a brahmadēya in Jayaṅgoṇḍaśōḻa-maṇḍalam, and gifts of sheep for two perpetual lamps, one to the god Tiruvuttīśvaram-uḍaiya Mahādēva in Vaḻudavūr, a hamlet of Tiruvakkarai and the other to god Tiruva[ga]stīśvaram-uḍaiya Mahādēva in Oḻugaṟai, another hamlet of Tiruvakkarai, by Kumāri Kuṭṭi alias Abhimāṉamēru-chchōḻamuttaraiyaṉ, a resident of Āṟṟuppākkam, a northern hamlet of Tiruvakkarai.
The same donor made another endowment of sheep for a perpetual lamp in the 10th year of the king.

This refers to a skirmish at Māmbākkam in which Karuṇākara-chchōḻamuttaraiyan alias Śūṟṟiyadēvaṉ, younger brother of Moḻakkan Paḷḷikoṇḍāṉ alias Vikramaśōḻa Nīlagaṅgaraiyan died. In order to expiate this sin Ayyāṟan Śāttaṉ alias Rājarāja Śeṅgāṭṭu Moḻakkan is stated to have made a gift of cows for a perpetual lamp to Mūlasthānamuḍaiyār in Tribhuvanamādēvi-chaturvēdimaṅgalam in Vīrāvatāra-vaḷanāḍu in Rāja rāja-vaḷanāḍu.

The name of the division, Viḻupparaiya-nāḍu, seems to suggest the origin of the name Viḻuppuram, the headquarters of the taluk.
