The details of date i.e., Śaka 1338, Naḷa, Arpaśi, 25 are irregular. If the Śaka year quoted is a mistake for Ś. 1358, the date would correspond to 1436 A.D.

This inscription records the gift of two door-ways in the shrine of Tiruvālīśvaramuḍaiya nāyanār and the setting up of an image of Tiruppaḷḷi-nāchchiyār for the god, by Śakkaraśar, son of Ayyaluppi Kaḍaiyār Vide No. 725 below.
