35 <p>This inscription is dated in the 4th year of the reign of <hi rend="bold">Parakēsarivarman</hi>, <hi rend="italic">alias</hi> <hi rend="bold">Vikrama-Chōḷadēva</hi> (1. 17), and opens with an introduction which resembles that of the Tañjāvūr inscription of this king, but is only partially preserved. It records that certain land was purchased from the villagers and granted to the temple. The land was situated in <hi rend="bold">Pulvāyppāppāṉ-Kuḷattūr</hi>—evidently a portion of the village of <hi rend="bold">Kuḷattūr</hi> which is referred to in No. <ref target="DHARMA_INSSIIv03p0i0027">27</ref> above.</p>
