Translation

⟨1⟩ [Prosperity!] Fortune!

⟨1–4⟩ This is the 20th year of king Kulottuṅga Cōḻa.

⟨4–13⟩ We, the temple administrators in the temple of this god, ⟨have given the rights to sing⟩ the closing stanza (kaṭai kāppu) of the tiruvempāvai, to Kulottoṅga Cōḻa Māṇikkam, alias Uṭaiyanācci², daughter of Tiruvēkampam Naṅkai, alias Peṟṟi, a tēvaraṭiyāḷ in the temple of the Lord Nalla Nāyaṉār.

We, these temple administrators, have granted the hereditary rights (kāṇi) to her after accepting (kaikkoṇṭu) the gold³ estipulated as price (vilai āka) and engraving it on stone.
