L6. Sircar marks jī as unclear, but nothing of this character is visible in the rubbing. Still, the restoration sājījanat seems very plausible, though so jījanat appears equally possible to me. Sircar believes that v6 introduced Viṣṇudatta's wife and v7 their son - but it could be the case that v6 is about V's son and v7 about his grandson. Also, janayati causative is perhaps primarily "beget" and only secondarily "give birth to". [But anyway, the Nirdoṣa inscription also has bhānuguptā ... tanayān ... ajījanat.]

In any case, the reading seems clear. Could this be incorrect sandhi for maṇḍane+etad? But with uttarasyāṁ, we'd expect diśi. Perhaps there was diśi in the lost part, and we have diṅmandanā here describing something, but the gender problem remains.
