Translation by Krishna Sastri 1920

Hail ! Prosperity ! This is Śāttaṉ Guṇabattaṉ alias Haracharaṇaśēgaraṉ of Ālattūr that built the sacred stone temple of Uḍaiyapirāṭṭiyār who had (obtained) in (her) sacred womb the glorious Madhurāntakadēva alias Uttama-Chōḷa. The title with which he was honoured (in his office) was Rājakēsari-Mūvēndavēḷār. (This is) he.
