<p>On the problematic last word, which in light of <ref target="DHARMA_INSKnI00022.xml">KnI 22</ref>, seems to be a number, see <bibl><ptr target="bib:Nakanishi+Hinuber2014_01"/><citedRange unit="page">46</citedRange></bibl>. Note that the supposed third instance of a number (<foreign>panāsa</foreign>, “fifty”) on the <foreign>pupphagahani</foreign> bearing <ref target="DHARMA_INSKnI00044.xml">KnI 44</ref> has now proved unsupported. It seems to me unlikely that both numbers in <ref target="DHARMA_INSKnI00021.xml">KnI 21</ref> and <ref target="DHARMA_INSKnI00022.xml">22</ref> serve as location markers, and I would rather interpret this as indicating a length of the object given. <bibl><ptr target="bib:Nakanishi+Hinuber2014_01"/></bibl> assert that the length of the <foreign>pupphagahani</foreign> is uniform, but this is contradicted by the observation of the objects in question. That bearing bearing <ref target="DHARMA_INSKnI00021.xml">KnI 21</ref> does seems unusually long, so this may have justified this mention.<!--TO ENCODE AS INVISIBLE NOTE: The decoration of the pupphagahani, which is broken preserves eighteen miniature railings, and it is plausible that it had originally twenty.--></p>
