Blagden:
Year 57 (695 AD), 2nd month, 24th day; Harivikrama died; aged 41 years, 7 months and 9 days.
San Win:
On the 9th day of the 7th month in the (Pyu) year 41 King Hari Vikrama died. His age was 57 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Bibliography
ASI reports the discovery of two urns with inscriptions, our PYU 5 and 6, and cites Blagden, who viewed an estampage and noted the honorific tdaṃḥ ƀaṁḥ, relating it to the name of the legendary Duttabaung. ASB, recapitulates much of the same information, but adds a reading of the name Harivikrama by the government epigraphist, Venkayya. Blagden 1913_–_1914, p. (A) provides a complete reading, and a tentative translation. Tha Myat [sā mrat] 1963, pp. 47 (A), 50, provides eye copy, transliteration in Burmese script and English translation. Luce 1985, pp. I, 48, 57 n. 13, 126–7, constitutes an overview, and Sein Win [cin vaṅḥ] 2016, p. 62 provides another set of eye drawings and transliterations, with minor differences from earlier ones. Re-edited here from published photographs.
