⟨1⟩ miṁ • Comparison of miṁ and plaṁ in this inscription versus ma in PYU 3 seems to support the m reading. See images in corresponding Word file. But accidental damage to an original p, creating the misleading impression of presence of a crossbar typical of m, can plausibly be postulated should a p be required. If the phrase rla miṁ ṅa does mean ‘months five’, then p is etymologically more likely for the pre-syllable associated with ‘five’ (ṅa): cf. Blagden:
Year 50 (688 AD), 5th month, Sūriyavikrama himself died, aged 64 years.
San Win (2003: 18), revises Blagden as:
In the year 64 King Sūriya Vikrama died, at the age of 50 years and 5 months.

ASI, discusses the four Sriksetra urn inscriptions (PYU 3, 4, 5 and 6) with reference to Blagden’s dating. ASB cites Blagden’s reading of the names Sūriyavikrama. Blagden 1913_–_1914, p. (C) provides a transliteration of the inscription and tentative translation. Tha Myat [sā mrat] 1963, pp. 47 (C), 51, has an eye drawing, a Burmese transliteration and an English translation (that matches Blagden’s). Luce, Luce 1985, pp. I, 48, 57 n. 13, 126–7, cites earlier works and repeats Blagden’s translation. Recently, Sein Win [cin vaṅḥ] 2016, pp. 61, 64 published a slightly modified transliteration (in Burmese script) and a glossary. Re-edited here from published photographs.
