⟨1–8⟩ He who had this stone1 made [is] the lord Kulottuṅga […] alias Maṅkaṉ Tāmattaṉ, a kaikkōḷaṉ2 from Koṭumpālur.

It seems that we have two pillars, each with an inscription naming its donor.</p>
