<p>
The name seems to be uncommon. It consists of the two Sanskrit elements <foreign>dāya</foreign>- 'gift' and <foreign>arcita</foreign>- 'praised' with the Telugu suffix -nṟu, hence 'the one praised for (his) gifts', if it wasn't meant to denote <foreign>dayārcita</foreign>- 'the one praised for (his) compassion'.
