First noticed (in passing) in Cunningham 1871, p. 237. (According to Fleet 1888, p. 26 [repeated in Bhandarkar et al. 1981, p. 252], the inscription is also mentioned in Cunningham 1863; they do not, however, give a page number and this report has no section about Mathurā.) Discussed, with hand-drawn transcript, in Cunningham 1873, p. 37. Critically edited in Fleet 1888.
