Translation

⟨01⟩ Prosperity!

⟨1–3⟩ Fourteenth ⟨year⟩ of the victorious king Dantivikkiramaparumar.¹

⟨4–8⟩ Stone (kal) ⟨for⟩ Cattima Vakilavaṉ Vīraiyar, who fell protecting the village without arm (aḻiyāmai) (for it, that is, the village), while Malaiyaṉ (malaiyaṉṉār) was ruling over the Aṭaiyāṟunāṭu ⟨and⟩ while an army was coming at once (orukil = orukāl?) on Maṇarccuṉai … (peṉṉai).
