Commentary

Krishnamacharlu 1942 (p. 87, §23) notes:1 “No. 468 dated in the 13th year of an unspecified king, but which paleographically resembles the record of Nandivarman noticed above [DHARMA_INSPallava00325], may be assigned to the same king. This inscription gives the name of the god of Maṇalūr as Tiru-Uḻutīśvarattu Mahādeva, i.e., Mahādeva of Uḷutīśvaram (Rudreśvaram?), but the origin of this name is not clear.”
