· <note>Note that the reading of <foreign>pa</foreign> is not entirely secure, since it seems to have a curved left arm, when compared to the straighter <foreign>pa</foreign>s in <foreign>payapaṭo</foreign>. Understand <foreign>bhatasihasa kasapaṇadāyakasa</foreign>. On the offering of <foreign>kārṣāpaṇas</foreign>, see <ref target="DHARMA_INSKnI00127.xml">KnI0127</ref>. The problematic <foreign>akṣara</foreign> could also be read <foreign>la</foreign>, and the same observation applies to <ref target="DHARMA_INSKnI00106.xml">KnI0106</ref>. If the tentative reading is accepted, the compound <foreign>kasapaṇadāyaka</foreign> could be compared to the epithet <foreign>hiraṇakoṭigosatasahasahalasatasahasapadāyi</foreign> used to qualify king Cāntamūla in the Ikṣvāku corpus. See, e.g. <ref target="DHARMA_INSEIAD00005">EIAD 5, ll. 4–5</ref>. In light of this interpretation, it seems reasonable to consider that the donor of <ref target="DHARMA_KnI00105">KnI0105</ref>–<ref target="DHARMA_KnI00106">106</ref> is the same as that of <ref target="DHARMA_KnI00103">KnI0103</ref>–<ref target="DHARMA_KnI00104">104</ref>.
