·<p>(First plate, first side.) (Order referring) to the <foreign>brahmadeya</foreign> Pāṇṭūra in Kūdūrāhāra,
205(granted) to 8 people, to Brāhmaṇas, to the <foreign>mahājana</foreign>s (headed by) Savagutaja.</p>
·<p n="1-6">(From the camp of victory, the town Kūdūraa, — the fortunate king, the glorious
·Jayavarman, who is favoured by the feet of Maheśvara (and) who belongs to the <foreign>gotra</foreign> of the
·Br̥hatphalāyanas, orders (his) official (<foreign>vyāpr̥ta</foreign>) at Kūdūraa (as follows): —</p>
·<p n="7-24">“For conferring on ourselves victory (in war) and for increasing (our) length of life,
210we have now given the village Pāṇṭūra in the district of Kūdūraa (<foreign>Kūdūrāhāra</foreign>) (as) a
·<foreign>brahmadeya</foreign>, assigning 24 shares to 8 people, (<foreign>viz.</foreign>) to (the following) Brāhmaṇas:

·victory were given (by the donees to the king as a reward for the grant).</p>
