Commentary
This inscription consists of a single line written in Old Khmer and located between the two front paws of one of the site’s monolithic lions. It is nearly one meter long, and the average height of the characters is 4 cm. The stone surface was not prepared before the inscription was carved. As a result, the inscription is difficult to read, particularly on the right side. However, a photogrammetric model made it possible to read almost all the text.
The second half of the inscription is similar to the content of the other two inscriptions at the site, which are carved on the sides of the monolithic elephant (K. 1452-1 and K. 1451-2).
