⟨3⟩ -kāṇi Āka v-iṭṭa nilam Āvatu I-

⟨4⟩ n-nāṭṭu neṟkuppai mu-

⟨5⟩ -vēliyi¡n! kiḻai-p-patti-

⟨6⟩ l meṟk’ aṭaiya Eḻu mā-

⟨7⟩ vum cantirāti¿cc?aval

⟨8⟩ cōtaṇa-kāṇi Āka c¡e!tu

⟨9⟩ kuṭuttōm Aruḷāḷ kuṭu-

⟨10⟩ ttōm deva-kanmikaḷōm

Translation

⟨1–3⟩ So that there be a cōtaṇa-kāṇi there is a land that has been given.

⟨4–9⟩ So that there be a cōtaṇa-kāṇi, we have given as long as the moon and the sun seven s ... we, the temple officers.

Commentary

This short inscription contains no date at its beginning. It is inscribed on the bottom part of the pilaster left of zone D of inscription INSTiruvavatuturai10104 (ARIE/1924-1925/B/1925/104) and appears, by its location, to be connected to this inscription INSTiruvavatuturai10104.
