Summary: The inscription is left unfinished. The details of date are given as Vṛiśchika, śu. 5, [Wednesday], Tiruvōṇam corresponding to A.D. 1008, November 6, Saturday (not Wednesday). On this date the sabhā of the place and the Sēnāpati (commander) Mummuḍiśōḻa-Brah[mārāyar] are said to have met in the temple at Pēriṅgūr (evidently for transacting some business).

Palaeographic description: [[In line 1 the initial Ai in Aiśvaryam consists in an initial Grantha E preceded by two juxtaposed kompus.]]
