On palaeographical grounds this inscription may be assigned to the 11th century and hence the king may be identified with Kulōttuṅga I.

This records the undertaking given by the anvayattār and the brahmachārins (māṇ-śeydār) of the temple to burn a sandhi lamp with the interest accruing from 2 kāśu received from Nittal Kiḷaiyōmbi, the headman of Vāyaṟṟūr, a merchant residing at Toṭṭiyam.
