[Pa]rakēsarivarman Year 2 A.D.

This damaged and fragmentary inscription engraved in continuation of No. 286 above may be, on palaeographical grounds, assigned to the 10th century during which no other Parakēsari except Parāntaka I ruled for at least 20 years. Hence this inscription may belong to Parāntaka I.

This seems to record an endowment of 40 kaḻañju for a perpetual lamp by a native (?) of Koḍuṅgōlūr in Malai-nāḍu.
