(1–3) Seventeenth year of Kampavarman.

(3–13) With the sixteen kaḻañcus of gold that Vasanta Pirāṭṭiyār, the Brahmin [spouse] of ... gave, ninety nāḻis of oil [are to be provided] ...

(13–16) We have become those who, with this gold, […] will burn a perpetual lamp.

(16–20) We have become those who have sacred food-offerings fed (tiru-v-a[mirtu ūṭṭu]vippōm) […] the field of the landowner given for sacred food-offerings.

(20–24) […]. [The feet of he who protect this pious act are] on my head ([eṉ ta]lai mēl). …
