gives the name of the god of Maṇalūr as Tiru-Uḻutīśvarattu Mahādeva, <hi rend="italic">i.e.</hi>,
Mahādeva of Uḷutīśvaram (Rudreśvaram?), but the origin of this name is not clear.</quote>
