Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1⟩ Twenty-third year of the glorious king Rājarāja, lord of the three worlds.

⟨1–3⟩ At that time, whereas Poyyāttamiḻar, lord of Paḻaiyaṉūr ... made a petition, there is a land that he (ivar) gave after sale/purchase as temple-land for the Lord, Lord of Tiruvālaṅkāṭu.

⟨3–4⟩ ...

⟨4⟩ The quarter vēli of fertile land ... so comprised [between the above-mentioned boundaries], has been given tax-free for the worship of this Lord1.
