Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1⟩ Rod for measuring land.

Commentary

A "+" sign to the left of the inscription marks the beginning of the length of the rod, whereas another "+" sign further to the right of the inscription marks its end. The distance between the two "+" signs, thus the length of the measurement rod, is 4.35 m.
