He also notes (Bhattacharya_1961-62b:29) that the word occurs, in the form of hadappaggāhamatya, in the Kanukollu plates of Nandivarman I, where Sircar understands it as hr̥tapragrāhām-atya, an officer in charge of the seizure of stolen goods. D. Balogh: the plate actually seems to read -groha, but the interpretation is still convincing.

Also, the space in lines 10-11 implies that the extant text at the end of l11 may belong to what was originally inscribed, or else, that parts of l10-11 were deleted, written over, then deleted again. The plural endings in l11 and l13 also imply that these parts are original, since the overstruck text only has two donees.

I disagree; the sign is not a visarga, but a dash with a dot above and below, definitely a punctuation mark. And if it was part of the pre-correction text, then ta and ste (of the post-correction text) would have not have been separated by exactly enough space to accommodate this sign. So we have a pretty definite case of punctuation applied before the final s of anumoditas. (Compare IN01018 line 10)
