Nothing is lost at the beginning of l26, where ja is below ndu, so the indent is about 8 characters (or 9 according to Fleet). 9 characters are completely lost at the beginning of l27 and 2 more are damaged, which means that l27 began at the regular margin, not with an indent. L28 again began with an indent and quite a large one; Fleet's estimate of 16 characters seems correct. There's also a rather strong line that separates the end of v28 from everything further on, extending above l26 from this point and back from this point below l26. I'm not sure what this is, $autopsy, but it certainly isn't natural. Can it be that the inscription originally ended after v28? l26 may have been indented with the intent of centring this line (though that would need a much bigger indent). The raised border may have been there right after this bit, and removed later to add vv29-30. It's even possible that there was a different, shorter colophon after v28, which was chiselled off to engrave v29. (This theory works without assuming that the raised border was originally wider. The original inscription would have ended in the present l26, with some space left blank. The blank space was later utilised for 2 additional lines; the last line is crammed into very little vertical space.)
