(Note that v8 in l6 ends with an anusvāra, not a halanta M, so maybe we have something else here too?) Thaplyal reads r (printed as र्, so perhaps he saw a superscript r here?), followed by dots, then a tentative kṣa and la, and a "clear" gaM.

With Fleet, I assume that verse punctuation was consistently a single daṇḍa at half-verses and a double one at verse ends (though there is no single punctuation at the end of l4 - but this could have been omitted because of the line end). The bit before the double daṇḍa in l1 does not look like the end of a śārdūlavikrīḍita. However, with 72 lost characters, a śārdūlavikrīḍita would be a perfect fit for the lost section. But assuming a prose invocation at the beginning, the verse could be a little shorter. If it's śārdūla, then my conjecture yogam cannot stand; we'd need a long vowel for the kṣ and a short one for the y.

Fleet only reads ḥ ya in line 11; I add vowels and a few tentative consonants from Cunningham's eye copy. Most of the vowels are also visible in the rubbing, but they are far from certain. And of course any of the e-s could be o or ai instead (perhaps this should be marked up properly). The text is probably in verse, and there is likely to be a quarter-end after the iḥ. The vowels as read here would almost (but not exactly) allow the last 8 characters of a śārdūla line, plus one full śārdūla line. But we expect about 65-70 characters to be lost; of this the end of the previous verse accounts for 4(+1 punctuation character), the first 11 characters of the assumed śārdūla gives a total of 26, leaving us with 39-44 to account for. Assuming śārdūla lines, we'd then get 38(+1 punctuation) completely lost in between, so it is possible but far from probable that verse 14 is also a śārdūlavikrīḍita, and what we have in l11 is its very end.
