Pargiter does not edit the seal inscription, noting only that just a few characters are legible, but what remains is consistent with the seal of %IN00130. There are facsimiles of the seals in IA39 (next ot p208), but my scan is poor, so even for %IN00130 I cannot be sure where the line break is. I can see dhi near the end of the first line, but I cannot tell if there is a ka next to it or just some noise. In the second line only sya is discernible; raṇa can be seen with some imagination; there is probably no ka here. The legend would probably be quite legible in the hardcopy.

In l14, Pargiter prints [#bha]radvājā sagottra (sic, my [#] reflecting his italics) and notes that we should read sagotrā, which is supposed to agree with bhavanto. Sircar reads (bhā)radvāja-sagottr(ebhyo), showing only unclear but not supplied readings; note also his bhāradvāja as opposed to Pargiter's bharadvājā. I feel Sircar's interpretation makes much more sense (the petitioner's gotra doesn't seem to relevant, but it's still more relevant than that of the officials; also, why would all the officials belong to the same gotra?). However, Pargiter had the plate, while Sircar only had Pargiter's printed rubbing, so I don't think bhyo is there in the original. But perhaps the reading sagottrā as (probably) proposed by Pargiter, may have been meant for an ablative?

In l17 Pargiter emends to nayabhūtes and offers tri-sthala for the next bit. He prints tha as supplied from parallel (italics), but this is clearly not the case. On the facsimile, s is visible; what remains of the subscript letter may be th or a number of other things. I could also imagine ṣṭa. Sircar hazards nayabhūtes to sthūlāvadhāraṇayā or nayabhūti-susthalāvadhāraṇayā. (But stra is very clear and unambiguous in the rubbing.)
