Āmbloda is Fleet's reading of the toponym; it is indeed quite clear in Sircar's facsimile. Fleet also notes that the engraver seems to have first engraved hlo or perhaps ḍhlo, and then corrected it into mblo. There do seem to be some fainter lines, but I don't quite see hlo or ḍhlo; rather, the pre-correction character may have been l, perhaps an initially engraved āṁlode corrected to āmblode.
--><!--
Fleet reads the name as Indana; Sircar_1959-60a corrects to Indanā. The ā mātrā is indeed clear in Sircar's facsimile.
--><!--
Fleet emends vala to valaya, interpreting valaya it "boundary" and noting that vala-yaṣṭi or bala-yaṣṭi "gives no meaning". Sircar_1959-60a convincingly refutes the interpretation and points to the Supia pillar (IN00037) which describes itself as a balayaṣṭi.
--><!--
Fleet reads yaṣṭi u° and emends to yaṣṭir u°; Sircar does not correct the reading. Given that ru can often look like U, I believe we should exercise the benefit of doubt and read yaṣṭir u to begin with.

Fleet reads the date as 19, noting that the second figure may possibly be 7 or 8. Fleet_1888:274-275n2 (on the Bodhgayā inscription of Mahānāman) returns to the matter and says he sees no reason to revise his interpretation "that it is a rather straight and upright form of the symbol for 9". He admits that a similar sign occurs in the Morbi grant where it must be understood as 8 (also given in words), but that does not affect this one. Sircar_1959-60a flatly says the second digit is 8. This does seem a bit more likely, but far from certain and I could also imagine 5.
