Madhurāntaka Pottappichchōḻa figuring in this inscription is the well-known feudatory of Rājarāja III and the year 35 cited may perhaps be taken as an year of Rājarājā’s reign, i.e., 1251-52 A.D.

This inscription registers the order of Madhurāntaka Pottappichchōḻaṉ granting the village Tirumullaivāyal free from the payment of taxes such as poṉvari, nāṭṭuvari, kāṇikkai, uḷḷūr-puṟa-kkalaṉai, etc., for conducting a festival and a service called after Vijaya Gaṉḍagōpālaṉ and for pūja and other food-offerings to the deity Tirumullaivāyal-uḍaiya Nāyaṉār n Kāṉappēṟūr-nāḍu, in Puḻal-kōṭṭam, in Jayaṅgoṇḍaśōḻa-maṇḍalam.
