<p>Bukka II. 1382 A.D.</p>
<p>The details of date, <hi rend="italic">i.e.</hi>, Dundubhi, Chittirai 5, Wednesday, Chittirai are irregular. On grounds of palaeography the inscription may be assigned to the latter half of the 14th century and hence the cyclic year and month, <hi rend="italic">viz.</hi>, Dundubhi, Chittirai will correspond to 1382 A.D., January, falling in the reign of Bukka II.</p>
<p>This records the gift of land in Kāva[n]da Kaṇḍanallūr, with rights of irrigation from the lake at Veṇkuḷattūr in Niṉṟaiyūr-nāḍu in Kuṉṟavattanak-kōṭṭam in Jayaṅgoṇḍachōḻa-maṇḍalam, by the inhabitants (<hi rend="italic">ūravar</hi>) of Veṇkuḷattūr to Mudaliyār Satyadarśanigaḷ of the Tiruvāḷaṉ-<hi rend="italic">maṭha</hi> at Tirukkārikarai.</p>
