This inscription records the gift of 90 sheep by Kāḍaṉ Kalitoṅgal, a merchant of Tandiram in Tiruvārūr-kkūṟṟam for burning a perpetual lamp to the deity with one uḻakku of ghee daily by the measure called Tirumaṟaikkāḍaṉ.
