This inscription records the gift of 90 sheep by Śāttaṉ Tirumaṟaikkāḍaṉ, headman of Pālpulam for burning a perpetual lamp to the deity Tirumaṟaikkāṭṭu Āḷvār, with one uḻakku of ghee daily by the measure called Tirumaṟaikkāḍaṉ.
