Summary: On a pillar in the maṇḍapa in front of the central shrine in the Vēdāraṇyēśvara temple.

Parāntaka I. Year 35: 941-42 A.D.

This records the gift of 90 sheep, by Māṉimāṟpayaṉ, son of Nallaman Śōḻavi . . aṉ of Marudūr in Kaimalai-nāḍu in Gaṅgapāḍi, for burning a perpetual lamp to the god Mahādēva at Tirumaṟaikkāḍu, with one uḻakku of ghee, daily by the measure called Tirumaṟaikkāḍaṉ.

There is another damaged inscription along with this, which seems to record a provision of 1 tūṇi and 1 padakku of paddy to the same deity.
