<p>This inscription mentions Eṟṟa-Kampayadēva, a Śāḷuva chieftain. The details of date given, viz., Śaka 1368, Kshaya, Tulā ba. 5, Monday, Mṛigaśīrsham, regularly correspond to 1446 A.D., October 10, Monday, ·35 ·04</p>
<p>It records a gift of 1000 <hi rend="italic">paṇam</hi> by the above-mentioned chief for food offerings to god Tiruvēṅgadam-udaiyān for his own merit.</p>

The word <foreign>hārājāviṉ</foreign> at the end of 1. 3 is also superfluous.</p>
