35 <p>On the north wall of the <hi rend="italic">maṇḍapa</hi> in front of the central shrine in the Chandramauḷīśvara temple.</p>

· <p>Rājādhirāja II. Year [3]: 1165-66 A.D.</p>

· <p>This inscription may be assigned to Rājādhirāja II both on grounds of palæography and on account of the donor . . . . . . . . . . . . Śambuvarāyaṉ being a later member of the family of Śambuvarāyas. Further the king bears the title Tribhuvanachakravartigaḷ which is borne only by later members of the main Chōḷa family. The year 3 is mentioned in the body of the inscription (line 8).</p>

· <p>In lines 6 and 7 a transaction of the 12th year of <hi rend="italic">śālaikalamaṟutta</hi> Rājakēsari is mentioned. This king may be identified with Rājādhirāja I.</p>

· <p>The inscription seems to record the gift of land as <hi rend="italic">dēvadāna</hi> by Muṉṉūṟṟu Śeṅgēṇi Miṇḍan Śīya . . . . . . . . Appan Śambuvarāyan of Ōymā-nāḍu. Since the inscription is built in, other details are lost.</p>
