This is dated Śaka 1454, Khara, Jyēshṭha, ba. 10, corresponding to 1531 A.D., June 10. The Śaka year was current.

It records the gift of the mūlavīsa at the rate of 1 kāsu per hēru, by Mokeya Tippi-Seṭṭi Baseṭṭi of Baḷāri, Mosageya Guruvappa and others of the merchant community for a perpetual lamp for god Vīrabhadra of Kōgaḷi consecrated by Baseṭṭi, son of Tippiseṭṭi of Koṭūru. Virupaya of Ujini is said to have carved the image.
