Summary: Gopinatha Rao 1988: “The subjoined verse is engraved on the north wall of the ruined gopura in front of the Viśvanāthasvāmin temple at Teṉkāci. It records that the king Aḻakaṉ Perumāl Kulaśekhara, who calls Arikesari Parākrama Pāṇḍya his brother (or cousin, aṇṇāḻvi) seeing that the work undertaken by the latter remained incomplete, caused the superstructure of the gopura to be finished with brick. This prince Kulaśekhara has been taken as brother or cousin, of Arikesari, in the General Introduction.”
