(2–12) [This is the] stone of Vīravar², the son [of] Pālācirikar, who rules (āḷum) [in] Ciṟuppāl, [who fell] at the time of seizing cattle [in] Kaṭṭaiyūr in Mīvēṇāṭu.

Commentary

Pālācirikar, ruler of Ciṟuppāl = Pālāyiriyar, ruler of Ciṟuppāl (INSPallava407) = Pālāciriru, the ruler of Ciṟuppāḻ (INSPallava409).
