Translation

⟨1⟩ Prosperity! Fortune!

⟨1–2⟩ Fourth year of the victorious king Nantivikkiramaparumaṉ.1

⟨2–8⟩ ⟨As for⟩ the sixteen kaḻañcus […] of gold that Tirunilaikiḻa[vaṉ] […] Kaṉṉa[ṉ] of Atiyaraimaṅkalam [gave] for a perpetual lamp for the Mahādeva of the Tiruviṭṭānam at Tirukkōvalūr.

⟨8–10⟩ With this gold there shall be poured daily ⟨out of its⟩ interest one uri of ghee.

⟨10⟩ ⟨Thus⟩ has it been given.

⟨11⟩ (kāttār kayy uḻutu kuṭu⟨t⟩tu)

⟨12⟩ This gold ⟨is under⟩ the protection of the Paṉmāheśvaras.
