Bibliography
The discovery of inscribed gold and silver scrolls (among other items) inside an earthernware vase was first reported by Taw Sein Ko in No name N.d., pp. 1910–11: 90; said to be in such poor condition that only a few detached aksaras could be tentatively deciphered. Mya1961a, reports (in Burmese) on the same find, identifying the language as Pali and dating the script to the 6-7th centuries. Luce 1985, pp. I, 128, is a brief overview. Re-edited here from photographs.
