Hommage à Śiva dont la Gaṅgā (embrasse ?) le corps […].

Je salue l’Incréé qui a pour siège un lotus, et dont les pieds […] brillent comme une couronne de fleurs de kiñja, qui se serait répandue.

Je révère Viṣṇu dans la main de qui brille la défense de l’éléphant de Kaṁsa, comme si c’était le demi disque de la lune rejeté par la gueule du tourmenteur de la lune (Rāhu).

Il y eut un roi Śrī Yaśovarman, dont tous les rois se plaisaient à placer le commandement sur leurs têtes, et qui obtint la royauté en (8) Vasu, lune (1) et forme (1).

"Autrefois, pour éviter la destruction de la création, ce fut une femme, Tilottamā, qui fut créée", c’est dans cette pensée que le Créateur a créé ce roi doué des plus belles formes corporelles.

Les śāstra allaient sans effort vers ce roi, réceptacle de l’intelligence, comme les eaux vont à l’océan profond, réceptacle des joyaux.
