⟨8⟩ mm¿a?ātetiThe omission of the sign for long vowel ā, a vertical stroke to the right of mma can be attributed to the concentration of vertical strokes between mma and te, namely the vertical strokes of the first and second ma and the sign for vowel e to the left of ta following them.

Translation

⟨1–2⟩ Success! In the year 19 of his majesty mahārājādhirāja illustrious Bhojavarmadeva, on the day 21 of month Jyaiṣṭha by the movement of the Sun, during the administration of the appointed official (adhikṛta) Jīvasena.

⟨2–7⟩ With the assent of all the kinsmen of the other countries, by mahāsāmanta illustrious Avūdeva, the son of pāñcakulika Hāsī, for the protection of sureties, the donation of unbroken circulating cowrie-shells, which was incurred of loss by conch-shell workers, was broken, and for repairs of the vihāra protected by Allahabhaṭṭārakasvāmin, fixed tax on seizing at market, which was Avūdeva’s own enjoyment (bhoga) as mahāsāmanta, was given.

⟨7–9⟩ For those who protect this pious deed, there would be this religious merit. On the side of them, the mother will be the one making pure salutation. The father of those who do otherwise again will be an ass.
