L6. M: restores māsandhiṁ, BLI māsandhyaṁ. The partially extant character at the edge of the plate seems to have neither an i mātrā nor a subscript y. It might be ś or śr, but a lot of other things too. Semantically, sīmāsandhi (delete the anusvāra) seems most plausible.

L7. The restoration pautrānva is warranted even though it requires emending trā to tra at the end of l6. The lacuna at the beginning must be bigger than 1 character.

L9. The punctuation mark, if that's what it is, after varṣa is a single vertical.
--><!--
L9. BLI: dūtakaḥ. M reads dutakaṁ and takes the following double short horizontal as a punctuation mark. I adopt this, but the anusvāra is not clear, and the double short horizontal may be a visarga. It does, however, look identical to the double horizontal at the end of the plate.
--><!--
L9. BLI reads the last numeral as 8. M says it's 7 and exactly like the 7 in the Abhona plates of Sankaragana.
--><!--
L9. BLI reads the end as vaitrayayā 2 and tentatively emends to caitra-dvitīyāyāṁ. M's reading and emendation, which I adopt here, are more plausible, but still problematic. The punctuation sign at the end may instead be a numeral 2, and all other Valkha records state the pakṣa and record the tithi in numerals, not words. To complicate the matter, the first yā is damaged, and the second looks like yo. I wonder if the date could have been vaiśā śu 10. śā may have been changed (deliberately or by damage) to tr̥, and "yāyā" may have been changed from śu 10, but the y-s are definitely deliberate. Another possibility is that trayo was intended, for trayodaśī.
