Sircar believes the original inscription had no more than these two lines, but he does not entirely exclude the possibility that there may have been others between l1 and l2, weathered to indiscernibility. He gives no estimate of the amount of text lost at the end of l1, nor does he say if it seems that l2 ended at satra or if it continued on, but is now illegible.
