Restorations in lines 2 to 6 are based on %IN00144, %IN00145 and %IN00146. I do not restore anything before the middle of l1, where the content must have been the same as in other Maukhari seals, but the line breaks cannot be estimated. The content after the middle of l6 probably follows the model of other Maukhari seals.

In l1, utpanna is followed by a partial character that is certainly not a visarga. It may be a queerly formed śrī, but doesn't really look like one.

Ghosh reads the end of l8 as suva, but says (#Ghosh_1937-38:284n6) that suca is also a possibility. He notes that the Mañjuśrīmūlakalpa mentions a king "suvra" (or suvrata) in connection with and after Grahavarman. Ghosh also believes there may be part of an n and a subscript r after this last dubious letter, so his conjectural restoration of the name is Sucandravarman. Sircar (SI2/II.2) goes for Suvratavarman on the basis of the Mañjuśrīmūlakalpa (v613). I find this to be a more likely name. The final character could be a number of other things beside va and ca; sa springs to mind first.
