The maṅgala symbol seems to be a horizontal dash with a shorter dash above its right half. Both curve slightly downward at the left. It may have been meant to go outside the margin, but the margin is irregular so I take it as inline.

Fleet corrects sadraṅga to sodraṅga, but given that the spelling is also found in IN00084 and draṅga is not uncommon for udraṅga, I think this is overcorrection.

Fleet prints drotpadyamānaka and puityāya (sic), correcting to so° and pra°. The first problematic character is very unclear in the facsimile and may be a correction of something else (dro?) to so. The second seems to be pi in the facsimile; Fleet may also have seen an u mātrā under it, or perhaps this too is a correction, perhaps from pi to pra.

Line 16 is squeezed in at the bottom of the plate and ends under cā of the previous line, after which point there would have been no room to continue this line.

This inscription seems to be a perfect first half for %IN00087, but I follow Fleet in editing the two as separate. Fleet admits the apparent connectedness of the text but notes (#Fleet_1888:132n3) that "the edges of [%OB00079] are rounded off more; the copper is of a totally different quality, thickness, and weight; and the characters, though of just the same period, differ very much in details of execution ... there can, on the whole, be no doubt that in [%OB00078] and [%OB00079] we have the first and second plates of two separate grants; not one entire grant." The additional dūtaka mentioned at the end of IN00087 may also be an indication that the two plates belong to disparate grants, since there is no mention of halirākara in IN00086.
