This damaged inscription seems to record the grant of certain rights of irrigation, by the inhabitants of Niṉṟai to the mahājanas of Payāṟṟūr. The temple accountant Panmāhēśvara-vēḷāṉ alias Vīṟṟirunda perumāḷ of Pulvēḷūr figures as one of the signatories.
