Vikramachōḷa. Year 8: 1125-26 A.D.

This inscription records the gift of 12 sheep for a sandhi lamp to the Āḻvār at Tiruvakkarai in Māttūr-nāḍu by Śēṭṭan (Jyēshṭhan) Tiruvāṟai, a shepherd of Gaṅgaikoṇḍaśōḻapuram in Naḍuviṟ-kūṟu in Śōḻa-maṇḍalam. The sheep were made over to the care of Kulaṅgiḻavan Āttraiyan Tirunāḍuḍaiyāṉ, a lease-holder of the temple.
